ABS ACTUATOR MODULE

SWO500030 is an ABS modulator switch that mounts onto the two-pin switch in the anti-lock braking system. Fitted to Discovery 2 models, the modulator shuttle valve forms part of the ABS hydraulic control and is supplied as a repair kit; it connects to the two-pin ABS switch and is described as straightforward to fit. The valve is commonly linked to fault codes referencing shuttle valve, ABS pump and inlet/outlet valve faults, so when those codes appear or the ABS warning lamp is illuminated replacing the modulator shuttle valve can be a targeted repair alternative to removing the full ABS pump assembly.
